I work with individuals who are anxious or dealing with change. Outside of my academic studies, my continuing education focuses specifically on anxiety, trauma, grief and relationships. I also treat Eating Disorders in youth and adults.
I take a holistic approach intertwining physical health and mental wellbeing using evidence-based behavioral therapies. I believe that we are all capable of changing our behavior and perspectives. My sessions extend beyond the hour we spend together. You will take the knowledge and awareness you gained in session and apply to your life outside of our time. I find that having homework creates accountability and greater lasting change in my clients. As each person is unique, we will find what works best for you.
I’m also a certified Pilates instructor with over 10,000 hours of teaching experience working with Olympic athletes to the terminally ill. In addition, I hold a Master’s degree in Theology. My studies coupled with my experience allows me to offer a unique approach to counseling.
